Q. Is your apartment Locating service totally free?

A. Yes it is totally FREE! There are no hidden cost or costs whatsoever to you.

Q. How does Rental Cash Back’s Apartment Cash Back Rebate Work?

A. You can rent any apartment in Texas and Rental Cash Back will collect an Apartment Locator Fee (if available). In turn we’ll give you back a rebate for 25% of our commission.

Example Transaction

  • You rent an apartment for $2,000 a month and submit Rental Cash Back as your locator
  • Let’s say the property is offering a locator fee of 100% of the first month’s rent
  • That means they pay us $2,000 for referring you to them
  • We then give you 25% of the $2,000 = $500 Cash Back To You
  • You will receive your check once VIP Realty is paid on your lease

Q. Will I still qualify for specials offered by the apartment complex?

A. YES, our agent referral fee is separate of any promotions that the apartment complex is currently offering, so when you use, not only can you receive a substantial cash rebate, but you also qualify for any specials, discounts, coupons, or promotions that the apartment complex is offering!

Q. How are you able to give a rebate with your already FREE Service?

A. We are paid by the apartment communities a fee for referring you to them which is taken out of their advertising budget. You can be sure that your rent does NOT increase by using our service. You will get the best possible deal.

Q. When can I expect my rental rebate?

A. After reporting your lease to us, we will contact the apartment community. Once they have sent out our payment, we will send a check to the address you specified in the Claim Cash form.

Q. I already have an apartment in mind, do I still qualify for a rebate.

A. Send us the apartment name and we will get you the best possible deal. You must also make sure that  Rental Cash Rebate is on the guestcard and lease application. If you have already visited the apartment, you can no longer use us as your referral source for that property.

How do I qualify for the Rental Cash Back’s Rebate?

To qualify for your Rental Cash Rebate you must have learned about your new apartment community through either our online apartment database or through the help of one of our licensed apartment locator specialists. When you tour your selected apartments, make sure to list “Rental Cash Back” as your referring source on all guest cards and lease applications. Once you have an accepted lease application, you can then sign in and claim your cash. It’s that simple! Please see our Disclaimers page for full details on how to qualify.

What are some common reasons for not qualifying for the Rental Cash Back Rebate?

The most common reason is failing to list “Rental Cash back” on your guest card or lease application. You also must not have learned of the property before registering with Rental Cash back and you must sign a lease for at least the minimum lease term specified for that community.

What if I put the wrong referrer on the guest card or lease application?

Unfortunately, you are out of luck. Unless you list Rental Cash Back on all guest cards and lease applications, we cannot provide you with a cash rebate. Listing “Friend,” “Locator,” “Drive by,” “Internet,” “Online,” etc. DO NOT qualify.
