Yes. RentalCashBack does not charge renters to submit an eligibility request or use our apartment locating services.
Can I find my own apartment?
Absolutely. You can find your apartment through Zillow, Apartments.com, an apartment community website, or another source. Qualifying referral requirements still apply.
How much cash back can I receive?
Eligible renters receive 50% of the qualifying locator commission actually received by VIP Realty, up to $1,500.
What if I've already toured the apartment?
You can still request an eligibility review. However, many properties require locator registration before initial contact or touring. Previously contacted properties may not qualify.
Do all apartments qualify?
No. Some communities do not pay locator commissions or do not accept outside referrals. Eligibility must be verified individually.
When will I receive my rebate?
Rebates are processed after qualifying lease and move-in requirements are satisfied, the brokerage receives the locator commission, and all rebate terms have been met.
Does submitting guarantee a rebate?
No. Submission is an eligibility request only. Rebate payment depends on property participation, referral acceptance, commission receipt, and applicable program requirements.
